For those who work from home but occasionally need a change of scenery — or a place to take calls without background noise. The casual desk gives you access to a well-equipped workspace without the commitment of a permanent arrangement.

Available Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, subject to availability.

WHO THIS IS FOR

The Workspace is best suited to service providers, consultants, and established business owners who do focused work and occasionally need to host. It is not designed for people who spend most of their day on calls — we keep the main space quiet by design,

    • Standing desk, ergonomic chair, and monitor provided

    • High-speed Wi-Fi and printing

    • Local espresso coffee, tea and milk (regular and oat milk)

    • Access to kitchenette and communal area

    • Natural light and a quiet, professional atmosphere

    • The meeting room is available to use on an ad hoc basis when it is free. If you want to guarantee a slot, we will give you a discount code to book online.

  • Per day: $40 +GST per day

Frequently asked questions

  • Because desks are so limited, casual bookings are non-refundable. Please make sure you can commit to the day before booking.

  • Casual desk holders get a discounted rate on meeting room bookings — you will receive a promo code when you book your desk. If the meeting room happens to be free and you just need it for a few minutes, you are welcome to pop in, but booked sessions always take priority and we cannot guarantee it will be available.

  • Not always. Permanent desk holders take priority and availability is genuinely limited. We recommend booking in advance rather than assuming there will be space on the day.

  • Casual desks are available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Someone from the Artura Studio team is generally on site during those hours. When you complete your booking you will receive a confirmation email with everything you need to know about the space before you arrive.

  • Please leave the desk exactly as you found it at the end of the day. There is no storage at The Workspace and nothing should be left overnight.

  • The main workspace is kept quiet for focused work — it is not the right fit if your day is mostly calls. That said, if you need to jump on a quick call occasionally, the open foyer area is available. The meeting room is also available to use if it is free, but booked sessions always take priority so it is not guaranteed. If most of your work involves being on screen, it might be worth saving your casual desk days for when you have deep work to do and booking the meeting room separately on the days you need it.
